Colorado Springs, CO, (October 29, 2015) – root9B, a root9B Technologies Company (OTCQB: RTNB), and leading provider of advanced cybersecurity products and services for commercial and government clients, has been selected as a 2015 Defense Innovation Technology Acceleration Challenges (DITAC) Finalist.
DITAC 2015, which takes place in Austin, Texas, is a summit that connects the world’s top vetted technologies with DOD-aligned problem sets. More than one thousand innovations were submitted into the DITAC 2015 Innovation Challenge, and approximately 10% were chosen to pitch their solutions to government agencies, as well as to industry and investment leadership.

root9B will present HELIOS and unveil its capabilities at the Defense Innovation Showcase, co-located with DITAC. HELIOS is an advanced network security solution designed to detect malicious activity in Control System networks. HELIOS implements sophisticated analytics that take advantage of the unique characteristics of Control Systems to alert security staff to anomalous activity. The Showcase is the Nation’s largest Defense Innovation gathering, with hundreds of vetted technologies demonstrating their solutions to military and industry technology leaders. DITAC seeks technologies aligned with DOD infrastructure, operational and warfighter needs. The finalists will have an opportunity to compete for a $100 million rapid funding authority.
